ABOUT NORTHSIDE CHURCH OF CHRIST
WHO WE ARE:
Our members come from a variety of backgrounds and are economically, politically and socially diverse but have in common the goal of following and serving our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We love God and are devoted to meeting together regularly to glorify and honor Jesus Christ and to encourage one another.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Men, women and children WHO ARE SEEKING GOD to join with us and use their talents to become involved in the life of the Church body here. People willing to learn from the scriptures and make application to their lives, both as individuals and in various groups and that are willing to get to know one another on a personal basis.

WHO WE STRIVE TO BE:
Real and relevant in our purpose and activities.
Authentic in our relationships to God and one another.
Engaged and involved in things that have value and meaning.
Separate from the world and the norms of society.
Living and active in our communities using Christ-like qualities.
Giving of our time, money and resources both locally and globally to those in need, both physically and spiritually.

Sharing the message of the Gospel

Praying in all circumstances

Applying Bible knowledge to everyday life
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work”. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Strengthening families
31 ”And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” 32 And they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all who were in his house. … And he rejoiced along with his entire household that he had believed in God” Acts 16:31-32, 34
Leading our children by surrounding them with positive role models

Fostering spirit filled worship

Promoting unity, peace, and love among our members

Providing caring leadership
Jesus said, “Feed my sheep”. John 21:17
